what am i doing wrong?

So... I'm trying yo move out Marina, so I can get Fauna from my cycle town, but Marina is being Very stubborn, and after this, i have to move out Pietro, as soon as Merengue is in boxes, and she's worse than Marina! it's been 4 days and Merengue has not moved, and 2 since i needed Marina to move.
all but Marina and Pietro have asked to move, and i need to get a villager from somone as soon as i reset my cycle town, but i can't reset it until i bring Merengue over to my new town, and i can do that until i move out Pietro, im just going in increments of 1-3 days forward at a time, am i doing something wrong here? i need to move her out asap.

Do you mean that Merengue asked you to move but isn't in boxes yet? If you catch their request early enough, it can take something like 5 days for them to move, which is why maybe she isn't in boxes yet.

If you mean that Marina and Merengue aren't pinging you, are any of them your 10th villager? Have you introduced all playable characters to them yet? How long ago (in in-game days) did you talk to them?

The things above can factor in but if it's not any of that, it can just be your luck. Sometimes villagers are just stubborn about moving and there's nothing you can do. The most you can do is just keep using time travelling methods to go through pings faster. I can tell you about the method I use if you like, it's safe and works fast.

Merengue is in my cycle town, marina is in my main town.
