What a HORRIBLE freakin week

I'm sorry to hear that, I've heard of it but never knew anyone with it.

Thanks, they removed it awhile back, but it then came back, then they removed it again, and now they think it might be coming back again, so they are trying something before they remove it again to see if they can stop it from returning again. It was something we never really tried to worry about because they always were able to get rid of it. When I was in HS I had a friend who died of cancer before graduation, and that was pretty hard to deal with. So at first with her cancer it was pretty stressful, but I'm not really worried about it anymore.
 
Sorry man. I feel the same way when it happened to my grandma. I went to the wake and i felt her, and i just couldn't hold it in. I sometimes cry in class just thinking of her.
 
Ok, so everyone is aware of what happened last week. And several are aware that this weekend I was visiting with my fiancee's parents several hours away from where we live.

I have more to add to the awfulness. Let's start with:

My girlfriend's best friend as a kid lived across the street from her parents house. I met him a few times, and his family a few times. On Thursday of last week, his father died from cancer. He was diagnosed 3 weeks ago. He was given 6 months to live. It was liver cancer. He didn't even drink heavily. Anyways, he went in for a check-up after being given 6 months... and was told that it had already spread to his intestines. He died very shortly after. Yes, it is wonderful he did not suffer with cancer for very long. But was also very upsetting that he went so fast. Because it was so fast, no one outside of his immediate family even knew that he was sick. So I had that funeral to attend over the weekend.

And THEN...

My girlfriend's other childhood friend, also on Thursday was driving to go pick up his kids in another state. He picks up the kids and is on his way back, when (The details are still a little shaky) he fell asleep at the wheel (They know he was NOT drunk). His car swerved off of the highway, thru a guardrail, and down a ravine. He was knocked unconscious. Apparently the cops were called, and this cop comes and NEVER got out of his car to try to find this car. He just drove by and said, oh there must of been no accident. Even though you could CLEARLY see paint and a hole in the guardrail. So he left. Roughly about 3 hours Jim was holding his 4 year old who was bleeding pretty bad, and called for help. It took the cops another hour or 2 to arrive at the scene. By the time he did, both his 4 year old and 6 year old were dead. Now he has that hanging over his head for the rest of his life. We were supposed to go to the wake/funeral on Sunday and Monday, but I'll be honest, my girlfriend and I just couldn't do it. We were just at a funeral for the 8 month old baby last week. I couldnt do another kid's funeral. I could not see another coffin that small, and definitely not 2 of them. So anyways, yeah this was supposed to be my getaway weekend with my girl, and we were supposed to enjoy it with family and friends.
 
Im srry :'( if my cousin died would definitly cry!!! even though my cousin (9 years old (2nd cousin)) is anoying and bites bunches me all the time I still love them and I would never want them to die :'(
 
Thanks Sarah, In the cop's defense it was dark out (I think early early morning). But he should of checked a little more in depth in my opinion

Ugh, stupid police. Not just in America but in our country as well. They put everyone to shame when they're too lazy to even get out of the car. T_T
 
I am so sorry for what a terrible couple of weeks you have been having. Hey, it can only get better =)
 
Wow. I...I just really don't know what to say. I'm in shock of all that you've been through in this week and a half. I'm so sorry about what has transpired...but like lilypad said, "it can only get better," and that we're all here for you. I wish you the best.
 
Oh, my grandfather had cancer for about 1 - 2 years, everytime I visited him he was in the bed, everytime, I think it was good to your friend that passed away,
 
Wow, man, that is just... Horrible, and reading that almost made ME cry, my prayers go out to them and you, may they rest in peace...
