So I have heard that you do not need to wait 5-10 minutes in the water to get a PWP request. All you have to do is get stung by a jellyfish once or more times.I tried it and sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.Any clues on how this works?
Um, not quite. If your pockets are empty and you have no bells, villagers are more likely to request PWP's. But a ping could still be a non-pwp, that's for sure. Villagers, however only ping after they haven't seen you for a set amount of time. So it's recommended to go to the beach or swim for about 5 or 6 minutes so one will ping again.
Really? Jellyfish affect pings? I haven't heard that before.
Yes it did. They pinged me just like that
After doing some research, this is undoubtedly false. You just need to get out of sight for a few minutes. The jellyfish have nothing to do with the pings.
They do.I did an experiment.I walked through all the villagers no pings, went to the sea got stung once and went back out and 1 ping. Its been less than 2 minutes
How many times have you replicated this? You can only say it is an experiment and speak as though it is fact if you have tested it and succeeded on a multitude of occasions. Otherwise you are simply basing your statement on luck.
I did yeah.I got stung 1-3 times and went out and got a ping
Im not saying it does but thats what I do to get pings in less time!I've seen other sources that say that it has nothing to do with it. The biggest question would be is why would this even be a thing?

Do u manage to get pings from the same villager each time, or different ones? Cos I tend to trap a victim near the beach for the pwp trick and jellyfish stings definitely don't help with that :c
