Wetsuit in nooks cranny?

Is there supposed to be a wetsuit in the cabinet in nooks cranny everyday? Because I don’t have one everyday and neither does my husband. All the information I can find says there should be one everyday but there isn’t. We both had one show up on July 2nd. Neither of us had one on July 3rd. I had one on July 4th(I didn’t check his island). July 5th I didn’t have one but he did. Yesterday July 6 I didn’t have one but he did. And today I have no wetsuit in my nooks cranny. What’s going on? Why the inconsistency? Does anyone else notice this? Is there any data mining info?

it’s a current glitch we think. because sometimes it does happen to some players, then the same day later on suddenly nook’s is selling one. really weird.

I haven't been checking for them daily, but the times I have, I did have them in stock, that's why I was under the impression they were "permanent". It could also be something similar to the seasonal fan and surfboard, and how they aren't always for sale. But I have no idea :/

Yeah... I don't know why I worded it like that... I meant to say/compare it to how they alternate between one another.
