Went over to a friend's town and tried to talk to a 'past' villager on main street

o_o It froze the game - and apparently it did not look like my character was talking to anyone, according to my friend. My friend also couldn't talk to the 'past' (ie. the villager used to live in their town) villager until I left the town. I had to turn off my wifi to get things to unfreeze

Has this happened to anyone else?

I've never tried it myself, but was the game laggy otherwise? I could imagine it being some sort of problem with the game lagging and being different for both of you.

0: It wasn't laggy at all up to that point, we both had good internet connections as far as I know.

That's strange, that never happened to me before. Have you tried doing it for a second time? It could just be a glitch in the game.

0: Didn't try it a second time - the next time I go over I'll try it again and see if it was just a one time thing.

Hmm that's weird! I might be wrong but wasn't there another thread recently that reported the same problem? Maybe it's a glitch that came with the update?
