Wendells RV not visiting?

in my other town, wendell has visited the campground, but dor some reason i havent seen him in my new town once. is there a reason for this?

It's just random. I haven't seen Wendell for months and months and months but he's been showing up this month finally. That's my guess I've had bad luck with him in my town.

Have you unlocked the dream suite yet? I think if you haven't met him in the game yet, he won't show up?

I think Chip's RV is the rarest. I've only seen it once.

I feel like it could be something to do with the dream suite, in my whole time of playing during the new update I have only managed to catch Wendell's RV once. However, I haven't met him in game except via the RV because I don't have the dream suite unlocked. So maybe unlocking the dream suite highers the chances of seeing him in the campground? Anyway, i'm sure you'll meet him soon so I wouldn't worry about it.

From what SailorCrossing says, Wendell appearing isn't attached to opening the dream suite and meeting Wendell. Albeit as they say - it might higher the chances. We don't know.

I've seen Wendell in dream towns since the update- and taken patterns from him - and seen him a lot in his RV in town - but that isn't proof of anything. However if you want to visit a DA which has Wendell with some reasonable patterns then check out Nintendo's official Japanese town:
