I finally got my learners permit after delaying to get it for over a year and a half!

Now just got to wait 9 more months until I can get my actual license. :r But at least I don't have to bike everywhere now.

I went in March, and...I didn't even get a chance to take it. I failed the vision exam, and had to wait a whole 3 months until I could get an eye exam and get glasses, then failed the sign exam this June. It was pretty funny how I failed the eye exam:

"Allright. Please close one eye and read the line from left to right."

"Okay...B...F...T....G...errr...J?"

"Read that line one more time."

"err.....B....F....T...no wait....L....G..err...K..and...J?"

"...These are all numbers sir."
