I just encountered a super weird bug where one of my villagers (Sherb) was stuck in the clothes changing animation or something. He just kept changing his accessories, and I couldn't talk to him and he wasn't responding to being hit with a net or anything. He just kept doing the animation, and going inside a building and leaving didn't help. What did end up fixing it was I talked to Isabelle and told her that he was wearing inappropriate clothes. After that he was completely normal.
Has anyone else encountered this, and what happened? I hope this helps.
