Weird/underappreciated food combos you like?

Peanuts.
I feel like there's a lot of foods (Vietnamese and Thai in particular) where peanuts really pair well with some foods that in the US wouldn't tried.
Even for goi cuon you could just do nuoc mam for dipping but I like the peanut sauce better with it. But toppings for dishes with fish, mussels, goi ga (salad?), and some noodle dishes..it really goes nicely.

Chili powder with fruits.

Some things are just things that people would probably just cringe at in general...like congealed pig blood. It goes amazing in a variety of noodle broths and dishes.

I used to love dipping those real fruit strawberry ice pops into Dr. Pepper, though I haven't done it in a few years now. I also love sour cream on my french fries but maybe that's not as uncommon?

Gurl, ice pop and dr pepper sounds good

I really like toast with cream cheese and jam, especially strawberry or marmalade haha
Dunno how weird it is but I've been told it sounds gross

The only one I can think of off the top of my head is how we dip fries in ice cream/milkshakes, which people usually think is disgusting for some reason.

sour cream with dumplings! but like it's a russian thing that i brought up w/ my friends once and they were like "what". with black pepper it's soooo good

ranch on a ham sandwich
it was very good
i put doritos in there too but let's not talk about that

I like dipping tuna sandwiches in my chili. When I first heard it I didn't think it sounded weird, and when I told my dad to try it he didn't think it sounded weird either, but every other person I've told (including the person who told me to try it in the first place) thinks it's weird.

Also sometimes when I eat salads I'll use pickle juice instead of dressing. I love pickle juice though, probably more than the pickles themselves.

Okay this is a super weird one but I love mac n’ cheese mixed into plain Maruchan chicken flavored ramen. Ramen always tastes better cheese in my opinion, but I’m also one of those people that will literally eat anything with cheese on it lolol

ME TOO
cheese is good on everything, honestly

I like dipping some breakfast foods in honey mustard or hot mustard

like you know those toaster strudels that have egg and sausage instead of fruit? those are AMAZING with mustard
