Weird thing happened while I was plot resetting...

So I've been plot resetting for Whitney for about an hour now. For the first 7-10 times I didn't like where she was plotting her house so obviously I kept resetting. And then when I reset again. Twiggy randomly moved in?! I never saw Twiggy's plot anywhere while I was resetting but her actual house is already there and she's moved in??

Before I got Whitney. I only had 8 villagers. Whitney was gonna be my 9th but now Twiggy randomly came into the picture. So basically Twiggy has her house plotted and she's already in my town while Whitney's house is still just a an empty plot. I didn't forward one day so I don't get how this happened.

As of now I'm still plot resetting for Whitney and her plot keeps changing places everytime I do reset but Twiggy is permanently in her spot. What is happening??

If you were down to eight villagers,Twiggy might be a random move-in who plotted before you went and got Whitney.Twiggy might also be from Street Pass or someone's void so she'll tell you what town she's from the first time you talk to her.

Yeah, she was probably the random move-in to make your town have 9 villagers instead of 8. Good thing she didn't override Whitney, at least!

That's really weird :s Twiggy wasn't from my void by the way, I haven't had them in my town. Not to mention I dont think you can pick up a void villager from a town you got someone to move in from that same visit?

Ooh I just talked to her. She didn't say she was from any town so I guess she really was just supposed to be a random move in but then I took Whitney in the same day that Twiggy was gonna move in. It's so weird though never came across something like this before!

That's really weird. I would have thought Twiggy would have overrode Whitney, so it's lucky that didn't happen!
I would assume just a random move in. When I'm down to 8 villagers I try to keep it around the same date to stop a random move in while I'm waiting for somebody else. And typical you get Fauna camping when you can't get her
