My Nintendo Wii makes a loud buzzing noise whenever I insert a Nintendo Wii or Nintendo Gamecube disc into the console and I have no idea why it is happening...
My family has also got a Nintendo Wii that makes a really high pitched grinding/buzzing noise when you insert a disc, I think it might be because they were both launch models for when the Nintendo Wii first came out.
My family and I decided to stop using the family's Nintendo Wii and it had been put it away in a shed that doesn't have heating yet is fully weather-proofed for about 6 months as I got sick and tired of hearing the noise.
I decided to get it out a few days ago and try it out with almost guaranteeing that it would make the buzzing noise and to my surprise, it hasn't made the buzzing noise for nearly a week tomorrow at precisely 12pm GMT.
I wonder if it had anything to do with being in a cold place?
If anyone could help me work this out, I would appreciate it greatly as it is quite weird, but wonderful to finally be able to play a Nintendo Wii and Nintendo Gamecube game without having to hear a stupid noise...
