Weeding day

The weeding day furniture set is the best set in my hippie eyes I'm dieing to have the whole set and I read online I would need a lot of weeds so last night I turned off the beautiful ordinance and made my town the bell bloom ordinance in order to get weeds! This morning half of my hybrids were dead and I got two weeds :,( I freaked out seeing my pretty hybrids rotting away so I just had to put my town back in the beautiful ordinance!!!!

If there's anyone who's willing to give me some hybrids it would be greatly appreciated
And it would also be greatly appreciated if someone could sell me the weeding day furniture and or
Help me out on weeding day!

Otherwise I'm probably going to have to get another ds and make a cycle town full of weeds xp

Yep, if you water them, they'll be fine the next day If you water ALL your flowers every day, they shouldn't wilt at all.

From what I've seen online, if you have no weeds in your town on weeding day Leif will unlock the topiary PWP's for you to build, there's three in total. If you want furniture you need to pick 30 weeds to get one item (again this is only what I've read, I haven't experienced this event yet). You can pick weeds in someone else's town to get furniture as well I believe.

So, hold on, just to clarify, all we need to do to get the topiaries is NOT have any weeds at all on that day?

But for furniture, we have to pluck weeds elsewhere? So technically we can get two things out of weeding day: PWPs and the furniture set? o:

I guess you could yes , you don't have to pluck weeds elsewhere but you can to get more of the weeding day items . Although unless you have two games it might be difficult to find someone who will let you get all the items, or even someone who has that many weeds. 30 weeds per item .

Actually, 4 of the Weeding Day items can ONLY be gotten if you have Weeding Day in your town so you do have to choose a bit.

Similarly, on Weeding Day, you need to pick -at least- 30 weeds in someone else's town to get anything. If you do not pick at least 30 weeds, you won't get anything so whoever you visit needs to have a lot of weeds.

If you force Weeding Day (Leif will show up randomly anytime you have 50+ weeds), the requirement is a lot less (as long as everyone picks some, everyone should get something). But you can still only get 4 of the items from it being your town and the rest of the items from picking in someone else's (and vice versa--you will never get those 4 items from being the host town by being the visitor).

Edit: Also, what item you get is random every single time and you can only get one item per event. You do unlock all 3 topiaries for no weeds though.

My friend has the topiaries in her town, they are very pretty . I think I might just buy a weeding day set lol.

If you choose to pick all your weeds to unlock the topiaries with your mayor character, remember to send any alternate players to talk to Leif and they will each receive a piece of the weeding day furniture.
