Weeding Day question

my town has no weeds, so i thought leif would give me the topiary projects, but he gave me a cosmos fan instead? why?

Are you absolutely sure you have no weeds? You may have already unlocked the topiaries. Even 1 weed can make it so that you dont get those topiaries. Clovers do not count though. He gives you the plant furniture as rewards for weeding and one for free. I got the topiaries years ago and he does not re give them so if you already have them maybe you can build them! If not then go check your town because there is probably like one weed!!

oh yeah, i didn't check my town for weeds last night since i completely forgot. thank you!

edit: i actually had no weeds, but somehow i already had the topiaries, i don't know how that happened xD
