Do the weeds have to be in my town?

If no is anyone interested in TT so I can pull 500 weeds from their town? Payment can be negotiated. (Me paying you just to clarify)

Or do dream towns weeds count?

Dream Town weeds don't count (tested this myself) and I've heard that weeds from other towns don't count as well. So you need to either TT or play the game for half a decade to get the Gold badge.

Weeds in other people towns count. Just not dream towns.

my 2nd village has an extreme weed problem. Lief keeps showing up to do that weed pulling event. I've been thinking about inviting ppl over to do it ^^

at some point I will have to change my beautiful ordinance and let me town go to get these badges...but it is good to know you can pull weeds in another persons town...I usually will pick any weeds I see while visiting others towns...but at that rate it will take me a few years to get a badge!

Thanks for the answers guys, now all I need is a TT or just someone with a lot of weeds.

I'll even give a 7/11 item if you have enough weeds...
