I miss the thick morning fog that was in WW. I wish we had a very noticeable fog again. I like extreme weather! Like such heavy rainfall that theres low visibility. In the summer it'd be cool if your character would sweat and you saw your villagers hanging around under shaded spots. In winter we could be able to see our breath because it's so cold. Maybe early in the mornings the grass would glisten because of dew. All kinds of different clouds! WIND! Omg wind storms that shook your trees and bamboo and sometimes you'd find fruit on the ground because the wind shook it down and you could hear the wind howling. Maybe high/low tides that also opens up new creatures to collect! It'd be cool to go waist deep in the water and wade around and be able to go into the river without glitching. Like some parts of the river would have little beach areas that were maybe anywhere from 1-4 spaces long so we could enter and exit and after heavy rain storms the river would rise and after long, hot days in the summer the river would be lower.

omg I was thinking this right before I thought of the whole wind thing! I was like "AH! TORNADOES!" and then I was like "ahh...that may be a little TOO extreme!" ahha! BUT what could happen is on the bulletin board or maybe a speech bubble when you first start up your game would say something "warning, extreme weather may occur today! You may want to stay inside.." and the day would start out nice and then the heavy rain would come with low visibility paired with the wind I suggested earlier. And like MAYBE 2 villagers would be outside shivering and walking in circles and when you speak to them they would be like "I was trying to make it home but I can hardly see in this weather! I think I'm lost! Will you guide me home!?" and then you could lead them to their house!! ah cute! or a jock would totally be like "ha! this weather doesn't faze me! It just makes me want to train harder!" and maybe the shops would close for like an hour while the bad weather is at it's peak
..... man we're really trying to make this game super dynamic aren't we!? ahah I'm p sure the creators just want to be a simple leisure game and we're over here like BRING THE PAAAAIINNN!

it could be super cute! And with the villagers that stayed inside during the storm, when you go into their house they're all shocked like "what were you doing out there in this storm!?" and maybe other villagers would be there too and they would be like "I didn't even read the notice today! luckily Poncho snatched me into his home before the storm started or I could have been blown away by that wind!" or "I'm glad I made inside in time! I nearly got smacked in the head with a falling fruit!" and when lightening strikes the villagers would do the surprised emotion and they'd shiver and sneeze and do the droopy thing with the purple spirals.
OMG! and during wind storms with slight rain, villagers with umbrellas out would randomly do the shocked emotion and you'd see them be dragged 2-3 spaces to the side bc the wind got trapped in their umbrella! and you'd walk/run slower/faster depending on which direction the wind is going. UGH I WANT MORE DYNAMIC WEATHER SOOO BAD!

and the peppy/normal villagers making fun of their poofy fur "I am the fluff monster!" "No, (insert mayors name here) I didn't gain weight! It's the humidity, okay!?"

I do like the idea of really have rain and more dramatic thunder and lightning. It was really cool in harvest moon wonderful life.
I'd also really like fog too. It'd be great for themed towns.
But what I want most is blizzards. The snow we have on the ground normally is just not enough. I want crazy blizzards and the day after have deeper snow on the ground. Even the flowers get snowy x3 I just want a sheet of it over my entire town.
Also not really weather but more falling leaves and leaf piles in autumn would be really cool.
Ahh I thought the same thing too! I wish there was thicker fog in this game that would be so cool. Icy rain/ sleet that freezes the ground would also be pretty neat. Imagine the characters randomly sliding on the ground when they run lol
