Wayy to many groups.

Over the period of a month I have seen group being made some just collect dust and are never really a "Club" others have a lot of group members and turns out to be an awesome idea! My main thing is that there are to many threads relating to groups that just die. One user I shall not state has made various clubs that had no purpose and later were locked because of flaming or just died. So as you can see I think it would be a good idea if we(Mods.) did something about this.

One of my ideas is you have to PM a Mod. about your club idea and they shall agree or disagree. If they disagree it's the end of discussion if the Mod. fine with it the user with the idea is granted permission to make that thread.

Now of course there are fabulous groups right now that should never be talked about like this. They shall proceed on doing the right thing.

Now that I have stated this does anyone have any ideas?

Eh, it's not necessary. If a group stays active it's up to them, not us. This isn't a dictatorship.

If there are spam groups, the staff will take care of them.

However, we aren't going to check over groups that aren't created by the staff religiously. We'll do our jobs, but we don't want to hover over everyone.

Come on Dude, TEG started dying 2 months ago and now its coming to its golden years! I don't get your point. I wish i could be a MOD but, thats never ever going to happen because even if i do my best with my MOD skills, i'm never going to get it unless im here for 6 years...

If a group isn't active, that means no one is posting in it, so therefore it makes it way off of the front page of a board... so it's no big deal.
