Ways of getting bells

i desperately need to pay off my 548,000 bell home loan, and i only have 34,000 due to paying off my other home loan.

Is there a quick way of getting bells? If so, could you share it with me?

I haven't played in a bit so I'm not sure if a new better method as surfaced for earning bells, but I found the best way to make money is catching critters through fishing/diving/bug catching; diving especially helped me to make money fast as a lot of the sea critters, even the more common ones, are usually worth a decent amount and aren't that hard to catch

I can spare some bells if you're interested. I know some people like to earn them as they go along, but I would be happy to bring you some over. I'm in GMT, and just heading offline soon. But if you're available tomorrow, I'll be on and off from about 6am - 9pm.

The quickest and most efficient way is through turnips. You can also find some generous people here who are willing to spare some bells, as it seems you already have.

The way I got bells quickly was through turnips but I also catch a lot of sharks and fish to sell too

Already mentioned but turnips is the best way to get lots of bells quickly.
Other ways to earn lots of bells:
Crafted items typically sell for a lot. The items of the day for Timmy and Tommy sells for double and I think are always crafted items.
Selling rare fish/bugs
Certain furniture/clothing items sell for tons(throne, royal crown) if you can get your hands on them.

all the methods that people have mentioned here are great ones and i would 100% recommend each and every one, but here are some more options i didn't see:
- assessing fossils every day and selling them (i've finished my collection so i sell all 4 each day).
- if you have the vacation home DLC and are far along in it, you can convert a max of 15k poki to bells (the rate changes every day but i had 100 poki = 312 bells one time and that gave me around 45k by converting 15k poki).
- go on nookazon and sell stuff you don't need! even the most obscure items are way overpriced over there and it's a fast way to make money.
- sell. fruit. i'm not kidding on this one. make an orchard with a bunch of fruit trees (i can drop my layout if you need) and sell your fruit. i make around 26k a batch!
- plant 10k bells into your daily bell tree holes instead of the 1k it gives you. you'll lose out on money for a couple days but when it grows back you'll have 30k!
- use dream bell tickets (i think that's what they're called) and bell vouchers. every time you update your dream address, luna will send you a dream bell ticket and it's worth 5k in the shop. do it every day! same with bell vouchers, but you have to spend nook miles for those.
- save your bells! utilize the ABD often and put most of your earnings there so you aren't spending all the money you have.

that's really all i can think of right now, but i'd also be happy to drop some bells off for you if you ever need them! i don't play super often and i've got millions just lying around so it's the least i can do <3

Lot's of great suggestions here. I'll also add a tip I saw a while back. If you have the blue or gold rose wreath diys, you can plant a field of roses and craft a bunch of wreaths every few days or just pick them all every few days and craft a big batch later. They sell for 20k bells each and you don't have to search high and low each day for the flowers. And if you don't have the diys or are too lazy to craft the wreath, the blue and gold roses sell for 1k bells each.

Selling crops and pumpkins are especially lucrative ways to get bells quickly. It will take a few days if you don’t have all of the crop items and even longer to get them from Leif if you don’t have his shop on Harvey’s Island. What you want to do is buy 10 of the sugarcane, potato, tomato, wheat, and carrot starts and 20 pumpkin starts. Then enact the Bells Ordinance and sell your crops. The pumpkins will often yield multiples when there are two pumpkins showing in the field and will help increase how much you will get. The total amount of bells you will get should be at least 20,000 if you don’t have the maximum amount of all of the crops but you can get up to 80,000 if you sell crops with at least 80 pumpkins.

You can sell the Hot item of the day. Sell non-native fruits and any ground dwelling fruits and veggies you have. You can sell anything in your storage you don't use/need. That will free up space and get you money. You can also go deep sea diving and look for creatures. You can sell bugs and fish as well. You can sell all duplicate fossiles that the mueseum already has, and hold bak on buying unessasery items in the Nook Miles redemption service and the Nook Shop. To keep from tepting yourself when saving, you can place your money in you ABD until you are are ready to pay off your loan.
