I have spent over 14 hours trying to find a town, haven't found one, how do I become not-so picky. any tips to get a freakn town. I am planning to pull an all nighter and bring back to the time to daytime and play to find a town, please someone help me

I feel you XD I restarted earlier this week and I spent SO MANY HOURS before I got happy with the map T_T so i definately feel your pain D: it sucks!!

I had the same problem and have the same one now with a new copy.

What helped me before was realizing that there were always the same pattern to the towns themself, for example rocks always seemed to stick to certain parts of the river. Idk I'd just look all possible map variations up online and see which ones you'd want to have.

And once you try out a town, don't give up too quickly. There's no perfect map that can suit all your needs. There WILL be things you have to work around. Just try to figure out which things really matter and which one you're just overthinking.

Personally I think it's better to be picky, you don't want to end up with a town you hate. Maybe just take a note of what you want in a town map and if one has half or more of what you want, take it? Surely you don't need to do an all-nighter though, you can just do it until you're ready to sleep, and if you still haven't found one you like, try again in the morning? (nice avatar too)

I really wanted an island, but I settled for a peninsula. I don't spend much time on anything, I just try to work with what I get. I wouldn't even reset my town, I had it since the game was released. I spend 30 minutes max plot reseting and just settle with whatever isn't in an outright horrible spot.

Nah, I think it's perfectly justified to be picky with your map. You can always change the villagers but you're stuck with the map. I personally used this guide on Rock & Pond Placements to help determined what to look out for. Take your time on it and don't forget to take breaks.

I think I took a few days to find the right map. Just be sure to prioritize what you absolutely must have and things that would be nice to have but aren't necessary. I think it'd be a good idea to make a list and go from there. Good luck, I'm sure you'll find the right map hopefully soon! :)
