What are you talking about? Coconuts are the best fruit. True, they only produce 2 whereas other foreign fruit produce 3 at a time, but they are foreign to every town AND they attract a number of different rare bugs that don't appear anywhere else!

Atlas beetles, cyclommatus, elephant beetles, golden stag beetles, goliath beetles, and hercules beetles all ONLY appear on coconut trees, and all are worth at a minimum 8000 bells each.

Ya, I remember getting rich off those beetles in Wild World in the Summer.
Still haven't found any coconuts on City Folk though :O
