Anyone ever get a PWP only to find out it's a little off in its placement? I placed the windmill and realized it was almost invisible to anyone walking on the path, so I demolished it and put it at the top of the path. Lived with it a couple of days and realized today that I wished it was one square to the left. Demolished it again. That's gonna be 372,000 bells x 3. :o:blush::lemon:

Both times, I demolished it by putting a secondary character's house on it. I try to be patient and play the game as intended, but I can't be waiting for a demo and a rebuild in real time.

That's me with them 3 bridges in my old town (villager houses be blocking the way). I don't have the patience for move-outs to build something I want.

Thats pretty awesome actually why not work real hard for something you really want? Theres nothing wrong with that :)

I unfortunately did this with the campsite and the police station. :C Then again, the campsite is fixable, since I can just put a camping cot next to it, but the police station is kind of an eyesore where it is in my town now...

It's sad how I'm always super happy with where I put my demolishable PWPs, but not the non-demolishable ones. D:

Maybe they are just ment to be there then :) work around them and make them work :) I know you can do it you sound very creative. Im just getting back into my game as of this week ive just been so busy but I did redo my paths this week and planted a bunch of random trees for the time being :)

Same happened to me with the fountains. Had to demolish them 3 times now. Pretty sure it's gonna be demolished more in the future.

I'm not 100% happy with the position of my Stonehenge, but I don't want to tear it down because it cost me 700k to build. ;_;
I wish I could build more than one of them. At least that way I could try out different areas without committing to demolishing it first.

the position of some of my PwPs frustrate me, but I have never owned 700k bells at one time so I just deal with it. xP

Ah yeah I've been in the habit lately of demolishing stuff, I usually place PWPs when I'm tired and then when I boot up the next game they just dont look right... :/ I'm so scared to place my police station agh :c

Haha, thanks for the positivity! ^w^ Good luck with everything you're doing too. c:

ughh it was awful where I placed my lighthouse. my sister pointed it out to me that it should be close to the beach, when I put it a little bit far from it (wasn't thinking when I decided to build it). so basically I wasted 370k, mainly all of my bells, for that when it turns out I just had to destroy it in the end. i'm awful at placing my stuff, haha.

I built a fountain in front of Town Hall. If you walk straight forward from the door of TH you line-up with the center of the fountain but from the other side it doesn't look lined up. Kind of bothers me.

The first few months I spent a fortune one Public Works Projects only to eventually destroy 90% of them to build either newly suggested projects or to fix the placement of them(several times). I've reorganized my town maybe 4 times that involved me destroying and rebuilding projects. It gets pretty frustrated and annoying, but seems to work out in the end for me. I'm to a point where I like where everything is placed except for the Stonehedge is off my one space. Technically the Police Station is, but since I can't move that I have to move the Stoneheadge over to match up with it. My park area, zen area, and camping area worked out pretty nice though.
