I don't know if this is the right area but I wanted to ask what you guys though :P.
A month or two ago I went to a car boot sale (like a swap meet for you Americans)
When I was there I decided to see if I could buy a Nintendo console.
I found a Wii that a lady was selling for ?20 pounds, when I went there was someone else there. Anyway I only had like ?15 on me then so I went to my mum and she didn't have any money left so she gave me ?2. When I got back the Wii was gone. I asked and someone had reserved it, anyway she said she would sell it to me but I only had like ?17 pounds. She let me have a Wii, two controllers and nunchucks, a Wii balance board, Wii fit and Wii play in pretty good condition for ?17. I was wondering is this a really good deal or is it just me thinking it was a amazingly good deal as I have seen stuff go like this for like ?40-?50 on eBay.
Anyway please tell me if it was a good deal because I really want to know :P.

I would say so. A Wiimote and Nunchuck together cost me about ?50 new and wouldn't have been that much less second hand. Wii's also regularly still go for ?40.

Car boot sales are great. You get loads of great deals as people try to clear out their old crap :3

Yeah, it was really good condition too, no scratches on the disks or anything.
Yeah, I said to my mum I didn't want to go but I was glad I did! :).

Sounds like a great deal to me. The Wii itself might not be that much worth anymore with so many around and the cheap produce costs, but the balance board was very expensive and controllers and nunchucks don`t drop in value much, even years after the release.

Yeah I'd say imo.. Even if they stopped supporting it officially it has many great games you can play by yourself or with friends. Also considering you got all those other things, def. a good deal.

Definitely a good deal considering you got the balance board, nunchucks, and all that other stuff too. :)

Yeah. The only bad think we're the boards and remotes were slightly corroded but I sorted it out so they work perfectly :P

Yeah, I love it :P

That's around $32, which is like a third of the price for it new. XD

Yeah, it's almost like the person selling it got ripped off. lol, extremely good deal.

Really? I said to them "the remotes alone sell for like ?20 online" but they insisted that they didn't want to bother with selling it online and said its fine.

I have seen the remotes alone sell for loads online :P. And it was the end of the day so it was like a last minute grab :P

Yeah, that sounds good. If anything you should look into modding it now.

Is modding hard? I want to keep the Wii because I love playing it but I'm just wondering. :P

Yeah I can understand their reasoning. Selling things online can be a hassle sometimes.
