ah yes during the days where Neopets didn't suck
also will forever stand on my opinion about the new pet redesigns being lazy as hell
like the older ones were more lively and some of the painted pets had unique poses
now all the poses are stiff and just recolors

Yeah as long as you dont mention mature stuff that belongs to adults you are pretty much alright, but yeah I agree they can be a bit annoying sometimes. I hope JumpStart lifts the stuff though some things are just wtf.
You're also not allowed to ask to add someone on another site or give out email addresses, which I can somewhat understand, especially if it's a child doing it. I got away with it a few times, adding people on other sites and asking for their emails. Had to be very sneaky though, using code words haha.

That was probably around the time I started but I got more into trolling the newbie boards in 2006-2007. Then I think I stopped going on because a lot of cool people left. I can't even remember all the accounts I had because they're basically all frozen.

I used neopets for a bit in 2006 but it said you had to be 13 to post and I was 5

But yeah I too had a lot of accounts frozen though one was hacked and my PW got changed also lol if you mention tumblr these days you get a warning.
IMO I think neopets is more stricter now then it was back then.
For example they used to be okay with links to say DA account now if you post a, link to any site you get a warning.

well, neopets used to be a site for bored college kids when it first began
but it became... partially a kids' site in the early 2000's, and then viacom bought... and THEN viacom sold it to jumpstart or something... it and ever since then the mods have been on instafreeze mode if i remember correctly
