I was looking at the reviews on Amazon, and I found one that rated it one star, so I clicked on it.
"Firstly, this isn't a pick-up-and-play game, which is kind of what Nintendo's audience (that consist of children) wants. No Nintendo-fan wants to sit through a FORCED, painfully-boring, voice-less tutorial.. I thought the "Do it yourself" sub-title was truthful, but I guess it was a joke (which are common in Wario games)..
Secondly, there are ONLY 72 game-slots? Only 4 frames of animation? There is NO custom palette feature? -- Good luck trying to add more than 2 layers of shading on sprites, or accurately remaking sprite from another videogame, with these terrible preset colors..
Thirdly, after wasting 2-3 hours making ONE Micro-game. It only took me about 5 seconds to complete. HUUUGE waste of time that could've been spent making a REAL game.
Fourthly, It took Nintendo four years to make this?.. They've wasted their time making a game that is a COMPLETE waste of time.
Good job!"
I thought that the funny things were the amount of programming you need to learn to make a real game, and the fact that they created the games that come with it using the program for DIY.
