If you live in Europe (or have a Europe region 3DS) I think you can get gifts by changing your region (or it might be the language I'm not sure). For sparkling cider (or fizzy apple juice as it seems to be called in my game) change your region to France, change it to Germany for a Berliner, 12 grape plate change it to Spain and so on.

I didn't try this (friends gave me all the regional gifts available) but I heard it works.

No not worth the risk I wouldn't do it now either, maybe keep in mind for next year though .
