Wanting visitors

Hi all. I’ve only been playing for 4/5 nearly 6 weeks and am wanting to fill the nook miles for visiting and having people over. But on another forum (I invited a couple) someone dug up all my hybrid flowers and now I have about 2 left.
I’m wanting to to be able to pay bells for some diys I don’t have (as I highly doubt I have anything special to give!) so am trying, (anxiously) for petiole to visit and come too. I’ll pay as many bells as I can for diys. Or to catalog the floor lights (small spot lights on floor, not sure of the correct name) and some palm tree lights and mushroom lights.
if anyone can help?!

People shouldn't be able to dig up stuff or do anything to your town unless you give them best-friend status. So if that 'someone' dug up your flowers without your permission, I'd kick them off your bf list in NH and probably reconsider if they're worth keeping them on your switch friend list.

Like TheDuke55 said, you can only use your shovel on someone's island if you are their "best friend," so I would also recommend removing anyone who you do not know/trust from that list.

Otherwise, people on this website are usually very trustworthy; if you want to know more about how someone acts when visiting someone else's island you can check their feedback on their sidebar/profile. Also let me know if you would like any of my extra hybrid flowers I have! I am trying to get rid of about 30 or 40 flowers, they are all either pink, purple, or blue, and are mainly windflowers, hyacinths, tulips, and mums. Just lmk
