So I did the villager resetting trick, and I have been doing it for a couple of hours now and finally I got Lopez which is one of the deers. He fits nicely into my town (I'm making a deer themed town, or at least I'm recreating a town where Bambi lives, so a town filled with Bambi-like animals) and I got happy when I got him, HOWEVER his house is in such a bad spot! :( It's on the left, a couple of spaces in front of MY house (:P) and almost blocking the ramp for the beach (it is a ramp that I don't use often though, and I could create a little secret passage from the side, but still - should I keep resetting or keep him?

Is he a dreamie? Because you could probably trade him or get a bunch of bells for him. Hamprey moves infront of my bridge ;_;

I don't really need bells >.< I have more than enough! He is sort of a dreamie, but I do have other more wanted villagers :P

Rolf was a butthole and moved RIGHT in front of my fountain. I love him, but, ugh. It's not worth it.

How badly do you want him and are you willing to keep resetting?

I reset 72 times for Lobo. He moved in directly in front of me. By that point I was fed-up resetting, so I didn't care that it was bad placement!

Ah. I let him go with an aching heart :(

He is nothing too special, but he would be nice to have in my town really, and he sounds so nice :/ Resetting is only so bad because Rover talks too much IMO :P

Bunnie moved infront of a bridge

Tank moved on top of 15 roses

Celia moved literally 3 spaces behind me

Opal moved on top of my pink carnations

I hate AC sometimes

i forgot to do the reset trick for rolf. moved in the middle of my path. love him, but you picked a terrible spot.
i feel your pain oh man

I've had 2 villagers move on top of special stumps now and 1 bang in the middle of my orchard -_-
(this is before I knew the reset trick with a new character)

I finally got Cube last night by inviting him but I forgot this morning and started with the mayor character and his house is being built right in the middle of my paths and on ANOTHER stump -_-

I was really annoyed to start with but got over it because I really want him and just redirected my path.

I wish we could move their houses by a square or two, that would help a little at least...

You could always get a friend to hold a villager for you and get them to move back and do the reset w/ new character trick to make sure they have a cool place.

It took me 20mins to make someone move out of my town this morning to make room for Tangy too. It's possible but just takes forever :/

20 minutes is not too much, you're kinda lucky in that sense! I'm so sorry for your special stumps though! :(

I didn't know the villager reset trick changed which villager would move in? I thought it was only location which changed.

It is only the location.

But I suggested making the villager move to a friends town and then the friend making them move out again (so you could have the villager move back) except this time you'll be able to choose a location...
