walkway question?

i want to put the slate floor/carpet as a walkway in my town....
can i do that? if so, how?
or do i have to draw my own?

you can only use designs for walkways...

like what waluigi said, you can only use flooring in your house. you could however, do what you made a post about, and ask people to make something that looks the closest to what you would like. the way you'll get the design is after someone has made one you're happy about, invite them to your town, have them put the design in able's, and add it to your personal collection of designs. after that, you'll be able to "place on ground" or whatever the option is, and poof there it is.
