Walking and crying down memory lane....

It was time to clear out my ds camera and little did I know it was going to be filled with so many memories , both hilarious and heart-wrenching. Visiting my villagers in pictures was amazing and sad at the same time. I am so glad I took so many pictures. Memories... like the corners of my mind. Misty water-colored memories...of the way we were....

I know exactly what you mean! I got teary over the fact Rooney had left my town.... over a year ago! When I flicked through my old ACNL photos though it was like no time had passed at all.

I lost my Kyley-Wyley crying my eyes out ... Stooopid TTing accident! I have had him in my town since day one almost!
You gave me the idea to go through my pics and I found this one of us fishing together! Lol

i enjoy looking at them from time to time.

aww I know what you mean! I always like to take pictures of my villagers and their shenanigans. When I go through my 3DS camera I have a good chuckle of all the good times we had. Sad when they've moved away too.

Oh I can definitely relate! I've had, ahem, several towns in the past, and I always have to get rid of the pics...otherwise I see them and get sad/regretful!

I used to borrow my BF's laptop and I went back on it the other day...I had probably 100+ pics from a town WAY back in the day, from around when New Leaf first came out! Oh, it made me miss that town!!! :< :<

It feels greatful yet kind of like missing the moment again and a heart ache somewhere, I would probably tear up.
now I'm scared to look back with all my olds photos from animal crossing and regular past photos again..

I do this too! I look at old photos of my villagers that have moved on and it gets me a little chocked up. So sad.

I always accidentally press the L and R buttons and it takes pictures. Mainly of Main Steeet and memories of past villagers.

For me, it's not so much a sad thing as it is more of a nice thing. I like to look at the old pictures of my town and compare it to how my town looks now and see how much progress I've made. However, I also have my fair share of old villagers that I miss, like Wolfgang, Frobert and Yuka.

I like to look at past towns to get ideas. Also, I love to remember villagers! But it gets me a bit sad because I see the green grass and I kinda miss it... However, I also like fall grass!

I know what you mean! D: I went through my camera before to see who my first-town villagers were and the nostalgia just hit me. My very best friend in my old town was Pinky, I had a huge crush on Kyle, and Chief was a good ol' pal of mine, and as I reset my game, I told them I'd see them in my new town. I'm pretty sad I didn't get to fulfill that wish, but they'll always be a part of my most cherished memories. :c
(And it saddens me all the more that I reset a town that had both Kyle and Chief. Look at how popular they are. :c :c //sobs)

I still have all the pictures I took in my old town, Camellia. I have pictures of PWP celebrations, and new villager's house lots.

These are a couple I took in 2013. I got the Animal Crossing themed 3DS XL, and also bought the physical game (I knew I'd use two). The first picture was on release day and was on my SD card save - the one I played most. The second was a little time after when I was in hospital, really captured the irony of the situation pretty well! That was on my physical copy of the game which I was sharing with my sister at the time, because she didn't have a 3DS.



Also this was the first ever one I took. In the evening on the day I bought the game, I took it accidentally because I hadn't spoken to the villagers yet - I had no idea how to take pictures.



Unfortunately that town is long gone. It was lost because the SD card I had was dodgy and corrupted the save. This actually killed the game for me for quite a few months...I really got invested in that town, I didn't time travel, so everything was done from day one, day-by-day. When I lost it, I lost about 6 months of work, it just felt like it'd take forever to get it back. =(
