So I had Fang scanned in via amiibo for my friend. She took him some time ago naturally. I time travel, she doesn't.
Recently she let him go because he asked, she had someone else she wanted to take the opportunity to move in, and I told her I could scan him in and get him to her at any time a second time. I had even done two of his campsite requests to have some of it done. Someone else did pick him up from her island.
She let someone else move out again recently, island hopped but didn't take anyone, and was leaving it to fate. Yesterday her plot said it was Fang. We thought this was hysterical.
But he moved in today, and has referenced that he came from my island. Still hysterical and time saving, but kind of weird and makes me question the heck out of the void in NH. Someone who was picked up shouldn't be hanging around to go to someone again?
TLDR the void is weird.
