Visitors.. running?

I had my gate open last night and someone came over. They ran past me as I was leaving so idk if they were running the entire time. But today my grass looked significantly worse. I can really tell where it's receding around the edges of things. Could this person running have caused this? o.o I don't ever run in my town.

Running destroys grass faster. Make sure you inform people that you don't want them running in your town. If they don't listen, flick the wifi switch. Your town, your rules.

Running definitely strains your grass more than jogging. I agree with loveMcQueen - if your visitors don't abide by your town rules, they don't get to play.

I think I'll put one of these by the train station with a NO RUNNING pattern lol.

Patterns themselves don't hurt the grass, but walking and running over the patterns that are on the grass will still make the grass wear.
