Who is your favourite visitor at Brewster's Cafe? I must admit I chuckled when I first saw Daisy Mae without her turnip hat 🤭.

Daisy Mae without her hat is super adorable... I think my favorite visitors are Wilbur and Orville. I caught them visiting together one day which came as a surprise! They deserve the coffee break for flying me back and forth from mystery islands lol

It's fun to also invite different villagers and npcs through the amiibo cards. I invited Lyle I think just for the heck of it and he brought along Lottie his niece and Digby because they're part of the HHA. And he talked about how proud he was about his niece going off on her own to make the HHP as successful as it is.

I like seeing Celeste. It is nice to invite NPC’s and villagers. I just wish you got your own cup of coffee so you feel like part of the conversation instead of the waiter.

I knoooow. I kind of hate that. It would be so much better to invite npc or villagers and and be able to have a seat with them and feel like you're part of the crowd. It's one of the things I always disliked about NH. So much of the game always made us feel like we were observers.

Like how launch never gave use all the reactions the ai had from the beginning and some of the stuff they do we still can't do. Like zoomies. And it took them forever to give us a reaction to just sit down. Or how they could pull out soup or drinks and we still can't do that. It's really dumb if you think about it. Who wouldn't want to do that?

Unfortunately it really does seem like you’re just an observer instead of part of the island. It feels like I am always interrupting their conversations. They have better conversations with each other than with me. Every once in awhile I will have a more interactive conversation. Like when Maple wanted help picking out a book. I would love more conversations like that.

I will never understand what they were thinking with launching the game with almost nothing in it. Then thinking people would be happy when they have an update every few months with things that should have already been there. It’s still crazy they waited two years to bring in Brewster. By then you had already done anything you would have needed to unlike him. The game definitely felt better to me after I restarted with all the updates. My thoughts on the updates were that they were gong to add maybe new furniture or bug/fish into the game. Like the New Leaf update added all those amazing items. It’s still weird to me that they didn’t bring back sea creature models and fossil models.

I don't think we ever had sea creature models, but we did have fossil models! I remember trying to recollect all the fossil pieces to make a full model. It was something extra and fun to do. I do remember saving 3 of each sea creature cause I thought down the line we were going to get models of those as well. It seemed kind of weird to end it abruptly like that.

I think a lot of people were more receptive of how NH was released very bare because it had been so long since a AC release on top of the pandemic happening at the same time. That was a very unprecedented and difficult time for many of us. I didn't really care for how lacking it was because when I would get home from work where I was pulling double shifts constantly, I wasn't in the mood to play a game that was so bare compared to what we had previously. Yes, there was terraforming and decorating outside, which are awesome additions, but before 2.0 the furniture was so lacking that I remember everyone sharing pretty much the same layouts and rooms. And we added -core to every theme to make it seem more unique when we were pretty much just fooling ourselves lol.

2.0 definitely helped the game immensely, but for many it was too little too late. By the time I had a chance to actively play and had breathing space from my excessive work hours lots of my friends at the time had already moved on so I was left to play alone and it was kinda depressing lol.

I was so excited that they finally brought Brewster, but like everything else they missed the mark. They could've done so much more especially with how much they banked on NH. They could've given us the option to work for Brewster like we did in NL as well as actually be part of the ncp's coffee outing.

Sea creatures models were just one thing I was hoping for down the line since they gave us big and fish. Seemed to me they would eventually bring back fossils and introduce sea creature models. Yea I was saving 3 of each just in case too.

It definitely released at different time. Work was crazy for me to do it would have been a nice escape after dealing with so much crazy at work. I am hoping that when they do release a new game they do it differently. Yea everyone’s island looked so much the same. Hopefully they will bring back the fun unique furniture back. Adding core to everything was a bit much.

Yea unfortunately they did miss the mark in not letting you work part time. I am hoping they bring that back in the game.

I will say it is nice that they made it possible to have coffee with friends and family. I think I've only done it once when I played with my friends around 2022 Christmas. We just visited each others islands and then ended it with coffee. It's a nice memory!
