Visiting your own dream town.

I deleted my dream some months ago because it was old and I wanted to make a new one...someday...but my villagers kept talking about unknown people they had seen wandering around. I thought it was weird but I didn't pay much attention to it.

Yesterday, while searching for a dream I thought it would be funny to visit a town with a mayor with the same name as mine, so I entered it and it proposed me two towns to visit and both were mine!
I visited both, and they were as expected, not really planned dreams, messy with stuff laying around. I could follow myself around which was funny and talk to villagers who recognized me sometimes and then thought I was a visitor the minute after, it was weird.

Later, I saved a new dream, to see if I could visit it as well and nope, I can't, but both old dreams are till there. Isn't kind of strange? Anybody had the same experience?

If I search by my mayor name, or town name, it doesn't show up in the results, it "only" (?) works with Aniko character. I haven't tried with the two other characters yet.

It actually only works with two of my characters and I can only visit those two old dreams, the new one isn't proposed.

I'd love to visit my own dream address. It looks fun.

I think maybe it has something to do with old dream addresses. So, if you have multiple dream addresses, you can't visit your current one, but maybe you can visit the old ones? I'm not sure, though.

Yes you can only visit your old dream address.
My dream address got changed when I moved my main town to a different cartridge. I can only visit the old address.
I should stop visiting because the old dream address has more visits.
My other towns can visit both dream address.

Town Lolly has 2 dream addresses. Got a new one when I moved that town to a different 3DS.
I've seen a couple of towns with 5 or more dream addresses. It's the same town but changed with each new address.

Good to know! I had no idea. It does give me new idea now....What if I delete the new one? Will it get there?

The only way I can visit them is to ask for my name or another secondary character's name, it doesn't work if I ask for the town or the mayor name.

If you move your cartridge to a different 3DS and update it using the dream suite the address gets changed.
I prefer not to update my dream address when I move my cartridge to a different 3DS for a few nights. I only update when I decide that the cartridge is staying on the different 3DS.

I just tested the dream suite using my main town mayor. Typed in the main towns name and it sent me to my old address. Typed in the mayor name and it sent me to my old address. It's from the summer time and it's about 2 years old.

I just tested it with my spare town. First I did a Town name and got 2 listing. The old dream address was at the top of the list. The new dream address was at the bottom of the list. More players have visited the old dream address so it's at the top.

The spare town checked for a different town and it had 3 listings. Two were the mayors and one was an extra player that updated the dream suite. Again the old town was on the top of the list and new town was at the bottom.
It's nice to visit the towns in different stages but would prefer to have the new dream address at the top when I do a search.
The old town dream address was updated when the Welcome Amiibo update was released. I was suprised that Nintendo still has them listed.

When I checked using one of my mayor names I only had one listing for a town. Checked the list and there is a town named WarmArms with 5 dream address. One of the players living in the town has the same name as my mayor.

I haven't moved my cartridges to different 3DS in awhile. I would think you would get a new address if you remove it again.

I think it's what happened, I got a new 3DS so the older dreams must come from the previous 3DS.
