Hi Everyone,

I am so excitied about this update and I scanned in my first amiibo - Wolf Link - because I wanted him to move into my town. He sounds like he wanted to, but he is not able to! I have 9 villagers right now, and he did not give me an option to replace anyone. He just said he wishes he could but he can't. I Googled around and have not seen anyone have the same issue. :(

Wolf Link's exact words were: "...I wish I could accept, but the lady at Town Hall said she can't process my move!"

Any ideas? Has anyone else had this problem?

I'll give it another go tomorrow I guess, but I was wondering if anyone else has come across this. It kinda bums me out I have to wait a day in between trying a "new scan" unless I want to Time Travel (which I don't)... :p

I wonder if this means you need to have 10 villagers before getting an amiibo villager...

Check your town for any plots? Have you previously invited any villagers from the campsite or other towns today/yesterday?

No. I had nine villagers earlier, and had wolf link move to my town

To the OP, do you have a plot in your town already? that could explain why you cant get wolf link to move in.

Are the non AC villagers able to move in? I wouldn't think they'd be able to...

Yeah the new ones are wolf link, ganondorf, inkwell, Epona and the other two splatoon characters. Not sure if there's more?

Hope you get your wolflink to move in! Hoping to get mine later today :D

Hi guys, sorry I took so long to reply again to my own thread! LONG LONG work day for me :P LOL anyways... I come with info for anyone who wants clarification on this!

I had asked a villager from my campsite (the original public works one) to move in the other day. They did NOT have a plot yet when I asked Wolf Link to move in. HOWEVER, I *did* have an outstanding public works project to be completed TODAY. So I think since Isabelle was "busy" with that, it prevented a new campsite villager from moving in.

So - today - I have the completed public works project now, and the "old" campsite villager now has an open plot. My town has this one open plot, and 9 resident villagers. I tried re-scanning in Wolf Link today and asking him to move in, and he said my town was full, but he DID give me the option of asking another villager to move out. So, even with an open plot and full town, you apparently CAN have an RV villager move on in! I'm happy now. :)

So you can actually have Ganon living in your town? *mind blown*

I used one of the Amiibo card's just now with full plots. The character then put up one of my villagers as a choice to move out. It gave me the option of yeah that villager or no choose someone else =3
