I was just at cookie's house and it got me wondering how long do you guys stay over?? I personally try to chat and stay over for a couple of minutes to be a nice mayor/friend. Just curious hehe

For a few minutes. After a while they do tell you it's time to go, though.

I've stayed for ages before when I've put my game down and just forgot. I go back on and there they are, still staring at a wall
I wish we could have some activities to do with villagers when we visit. A mini game of some sort
Generally I just visit a few minutes and chat to them half a dozen times.

I stay until I can buy something of their's, and always do even if there's nothing I want. As soon as I've done that I make my exit.

So 5 minutes would be the maximum unless I need to leave the game.

I only stay for a couple of minutes, just enough to not seem rude.

If they have any rare items I keep talking to them in the hope I can buy one, if not I try to leave as soon as soon as they let me.

I run through at least 5-10 convos, look around (in dressers) and then will leave

I usually try and buy something if they have something I don't want them to have (like ugly furniture). Otherwise I will talk to them a little and walk around and then leave pretty quick.

2-3 minutes max. I don't take things from their houses. Tell them their house is awesome then leave.

I talk to them for a bit and then leave. Sometimes I would play musical instrument if they have one. I find it cute when they clap for you.

I stay and talk to them over and over til they repeat themselves and take a hike. I don't like taking their furniture that they came iwth when they offer, though. I just buy those shirt mannequins or whatever. Now if it's a villagers' birthday like Yuka just had, I feel bad for in and out so fast so I make the mayor sit on their couch and put the 3ds down while I do something else.
