Villagers you never expected to miss?

I've restarted my town a couple of times for a few different reasons. First town had a name that I grew to despise and had a horribly inconvenient layout - not to mention, it was my first time ever playing an AC game and so it didn't turn out all that great, so aside from losing Kyle, I didn't really miss it.

Then I had my second town, which I decided to restart, too, for a lot of different reasons. I had a couple villagers I could not get rid of, and the ones I hated the most were Rasher and Barold. Eeeevery time they said they wanted to leave, and I supported them, they changed their minds. -_- Which wasn't one of the reasons I reset, actually, since I knew I'd eventually be able to get rid of them. Barold moved into my town before Rasher, so he was there the longest, and I'll be honest: I was very mean to him.

I have to admit, though, that since I recently encountered him in a dream village... I'm surprised to find that I actually miss him somewhat. Not enough that I want to try to get him back in my new village, since I'd rather just accept what I get, but if he did end up becoming one of my villagers again, I don't think I'd try to force him to move out. I might bully him a little for old time's sake, since I can't resist a good pitfall prank, but I'm kinda surprised to find that I actually somewhat miss the guy.

Have you had any villagers that surprised you like that? You hated them while you had them, but then after they were gone, you realized you kinda miss them?

Peck moved from my town a few days ago. I was all happy because now I can get another animal, but I find myself really missing him, even though I never really liked him too much.

Mac from my previous town and Blaire from my current town. They both grew on me.

I wanted Rodeo to move because I didn't like his red glowing eyes. I sure missed him when he moved out from a tt accident.

I knew i'd miss Fuchsia when she left but i didnt really expect to miss her as much as i did, she was the first villager i invited from the campsite and her and Phoebe always picked on each other and i kind of miss it, it was cute. "Fuchsia told me i look like (some bug)" "Phoebe said i say (catchphrase) too much)". I miss Miranda a lot too but that was expected and i built a little garden where her house was in memory of her. I dont miss any of my other past villagers except for Nibbles a little bit. Papi, Colton, and Hippeux still haunt my main street, ugh. Nate, who terrorized my town and i am so happy is gone went to some unfortunate soul i streetpassed

I never thought I'd miss Rosie. She was annoying, but I never thought she was cute because she always are an ugly spiderweb shirt, but now I see her on my main street and really like her.

I miss Fuchisia, when she first came to town I hated her... Over time she grew on me, but In my mind I still had the notion that she was useless, to this day I still don?t know why I let her go XD At least I get to see her at the shopping market or whatever is called.

I miss Camofrog. He was a starting villager I let go because I wanted to build my campsite there. I instantly regretted letting him go, and I tried to wifi him to my cycle town until I could bring him back, but he never showed up there. I miss him to this day.

Definitely Chow. He's still in my Void/Main Street or whatever, but man, he was alright.

Maple. I like her, because she called me "honey", and it reminded me of my grandmother. Don't ask me why. Though, I found her personality somewhat boring. I accidentally lost her, and I was so upset. Come to realize that she was the only one in my town that I really actually liked. So, I reset my town.
Oh, and Mac. He was great. I changed his catchphrase to, "Fight me.". It was hilarious. I miss him.

I've only got two original villagers left, Skye and Mathilda. But first to go was Dierdre. I couldn't wait for her to leave...then missed her terribly. What's worse, she was my only uchi villager and I struggled to get another one. Some of the works projects I absolutely needed were uchi only recommendations. Anyway she was in town yesterday and we're still cool ^^ If I get the chance I'll definitely be cycling her back in, or in AC WiiU...
