Have you ever had a random move-in, thought "UGGGHH NOT THIS VILLAGER" and then ended up liking them a lot?

I got Shari in my town about a month ago and wasn't very excited. I didn't really like her design and she didn't seem that nice at first. But after I started talking to her I started really liking her! She won't be moving out anytime soon, at least not on my watch. :)

I don't like Hazel when she first moved in, but after chatting her up for a while she really grew on me. Now I think she's such a lil cutie.

Chow, Claudia, or Lucha. None of their designs are incredibly adorable but they're such sweethearts that I love them anyway.

Idek.. Static maybe I always thought he was a bit meh but he grew on me and I like cranky villagers so.. yes.

Blaire, she moved into a spot I wanted clear and I had a long strong of bad villagers so I just grouped her in with them. One day I realized I liked her character and the way her house looked in my town so I kept her.

Prince... He was a random move-in in my old town, and I did everything I could to get him out. When he finally got into boxes, I only then realized how amazing he was... While he doesn't fit in with my current town theme, if I ever make a frog themed town, he will be my first choice.

Lobo
I never liked the wolf that much
But after he plot
I enjoyed him but then I restated my town
Which made sad but I really needed to restart

I've got Lucha in my town. He's a pretty nice guy, I just wish he wasn't so into wrestling... but that's his namesake, so I'm not sure what I expected. :p

Pashinma for sure. I never expected goats.
Nobody expects the goat.

Pashmina is my absolute fave. They lived one space away from me (3 spaces, 1 unoccupied), with the space in between having a tree in the middle. We were the best bros ever. Pashmina is magic.

Same! At the start her design really wasn't appealing at all, but her little uni-wow carchphrase really grew on me! ^_^

As of right now, Clay the lazy hamster. At first I thought his design was creepy and his house even creepier but then I realized he was most likely based off Dogū "clay figures" in the Jōmon period from Japan. His design and house now make perfect sense and I honestly can't hate on lazy villagers. I'm really tempted to keep him. He's so unique! <3

when Molly first moved in, i thought she was ok and didn't really expect to feel much more beyond that, but now, she's one of my favorite villagers and is definitely a keeper <3

Kyle for me. He was a little unsettling when i first saw him, but he grew on me.

Have to disagree to Hazel. She was a curse to me. Had her in all three of my towns, and couldn't get rid of her. Finally, when she left, she moved to one of my other towns. I gave up, and deleted my file, SHE WAS ONE OF MY STARTERS. I cried. Real tears.

HANS. Absolutely Hans. He was a very early move-in villager and at first I was like OH GREAT HE'S A GORILLA. But now I love love looove him and I never ever want him to leave!!

pietro. i hated him until he ended up in my town and now i adore him. same with stitches.

I hated Elvis at first because he was kinda mean to me and ugly (imo) but he really grew on me and I was sad when he moved away. He gave me a throne, which is the most expensive gift I've ever received from a villager.

Octavian. The first time I walked into his house I looked at that face and thought: "Oh my goodness you're hideous! You are so not staying." Now his picture is in my house and he's made about twenty attempts to leave over the past eighteen months.

Gladys. She looked a little bit dull when I first had her in my town but now when I look at her, she looks simple and cute.
