Villagers You Accidentally Fell In Love With

I had Tansei all planned out. I planned which 10 villagers I wanted before I even started the game. But when I started, I got so lucky on my starting villagers. I had Fang, Skye, Chrissy, Tiffany, and Lucky. All of whom I really enjoy. Chrissy is a permanent resident, but Tiffany and Lucky have already moved away. Fang just pinged me to leave and I feel really sad! I already have Chief, who is a dreamie, but I kinda don't want Fang to leave. If I let him stay though, it'd mess with my plans which I don't want to change.

Anyway, have any of you had a similar situation?

I decided to keep Fang for now and wait for Skye or Ken to ping.
 
Frank. I really wanted Chief as my cranky villager, but Frank was a starting villager and I ended up getting too attached to let him go! I also started off with 3 penguins, and while I definitely didn't want 3, it ended up breaking my heart letting one of them go (I miss you, Friga ;_; )
 
I had that feeling with Pudge a while ago, I was so set on getting him to leave I spammed his dialogue everyday but when it came down to saying goodbye I suddenly decided I didn't want him to leave. Although I still let him go, I do miss that little guy. But I did get Lucky recently, who I decided I wanted more so I decided to get him instead, who knows? maybe Pudge might come wandering into one of my towns someday. :) But I think if you like Fang and you're reluctant to let him go, definitely keep him. I know you have a vision in mind and everything, but maybe you can incorporate him somehow? I think if you really love a villager, don't let them leave no matter what. I've had favourites who don't fit into my theme, but I love them all the same.
 
Lionel. He was a void. But he picked a really nice spot, and he looks like Armstrong from FMA so yeah. Kinda fell in love with him a bit. XD He's here to stay.

I had my town villagers all planned out too when I first started, but none of those original 'dreamies' remain in my town. I didn't really have any previous connections or history with any one villager, so I went purely by their pictures. Of course as time went on and I started seeing other villagers in the actual game I started swapping them out. I actually never really took to the wolves, but then I got fang and Wolfgang in my cycle town and I just loved them. I previously had Skye/Whitney/Kyle who all left....but these two I adore :) marshal was also never an original dreamie....I just got to know him in my friends town and that was that, I had to get him :)
 
I never liked Rod very much, because I'm not really a big fan of jock villagers. But as I got to know him, I really liked him. So when he moved away, I was devastated. At least I have his picture.
 
Flora
I never like pink a lot
But needed a peppy for zebilage
And I decided to take flora
But once I met her
I like her a lot <3
 
I wanted to get Wolfgang since he was an original in my GameCube town, but Tom moved in and now he's a permanent resident.

Flora is super cute <3 I have her in my town and I absolutely adore her :>

There's none I initially hated, but I do want Cobb out of my town now... He's my only jock, but I'm sure I can get another one after Curlos leaves today...
 
for me its Stinky,
he moved to my first town pretty soon and at first i didnt like his design but he was so cute all the time. c:
i hate his english name btw <_< his german name is Stefan and it really was a pain the time i changed my 3ds to english lol
but i could never let him go so even though he moved out of my main town i moved him to my second town because he is just so nice and cute and ugh. really i would have never thought about adopting him but he just came to my town and stole my heart :,3
 
I've got three that come to mind. When I started my town, I went through a list of all villagers to see which ones I wanted and I saw a number of villagers that I really liked. I also saw some that were intriguing, but that I wasn't sure if I'd end up wanting them in my town permanently. One of those villagers I was intrigued, yet undecided on was Rolf. After I set up my campsite, I decided to take advantage of the guaranteed camper the day after you build it. I reset my game countless times to get a good villager, after a few hours straight resetting, I found Rolf. I decided to invite him to my town partly because I thought he was kind of cool and partly because I was tired of resetting. Rolf and I are good buddies now and he's one of the longest tenured residents of my town.

Another villager I have in mind is Caroline. There were other villagers I was more interested in, but I still thought she was cute. Then, Caroline happened to show up in my campsite as well, not long after Rolf. She was too adorable to pass up.

Finally, there's Mira. She was the first random move in after I started my game. I wasn't sure what to think of her at first, but she eventually grew on me. She is very unique, which I love.

Three villagers that I never expected to like as much as I do. I can't imagine my town without them now. And by the way, these are the only three villagers in my town that weren't already dreamies when they moved in to my town. All my other dreamies I've invited from another town. (except for one, but that's a different story)
 
Drake...he moved into my town from someone's void....he moved in an okish spot not the best but it was ok...

I started talking to him and fell in love with him...he was so great! I'm thinking about having him in my town again but he is like a tier 5 if I'm correct

Why do you say that like it's a bad thing? People take the tiers way, way too seriously.
 
I was playing HHD and I met Sprinkle, and I decided I wanted her in my town, but it messed up my plans. Along with Tia
 
Gigi, she was camping in my town and I needed someone to move in so I could get rid of another surprise villager that had just moved in (on a side rant, not being able to get rid of the most recent villager to move in is really annoying), plus I'd been meaning to let a snooty villager move in for PWPs because I didn't have one, then when she moved in I forgot to plot reset and her house is in the most annoying spot, directly in front of the police station as in she couldn't be closer to the entrance. but now the villager I wanted gone has left and another villager I really wanted has moved in I can't decide if I want her to leave. She is really nice and looks really cute with her neighbour Static.

I actually wouldn't mind people's opinions on what I should do.
 
Lucky. Before I got the game I had my mind set on Julian. Lucky was a starter so I grew to love him and now he's my AC:NL bff.
