Villagers would have a BBQ at the Plaza? What?

My villagers VERY rarely take part in plaza activities! I've only seen them do the sparklers with the bucket once, I think!

Yeah the bbq's are so cute I've seen it in game it always makes me hungry for kebabs haha and I want to be able to go join them

I've seen the barbecue itself on the plaza before, but no one was there :') though I have seen them play with the little sparklers during the fireworks festival and it was too cute ;;u;;

I haven't seen the barbecue yet, but I've only encountered the fall sweeping activity. Instead of just a single villager, there will be 3 villagers sweeping the plaza at the same time and a pile of dried leaves can be seen.

Thanks! I've seen the sparklers event but never saw them dump them (just making them vanish, like when you're using sparklers yourself). That makes sense, though!
