I think long ago I mentioned this somewhere to see if anyone else noticed it but it kind of got buried and I never cane out and asked but I heard that each personality type in the game has two types, a dominant personality or thier category and a sub personality. And not ever Tia for example will have the same set of two. Has anyone else noticed this.

Some personal examples are let's say there are some over the top peppies and some that could pass as norms. I have also had as I have more than one town the same villager I had or had before in another town be totally different...I had happy peppy Bangle, and snooty made people cry Bangle..I had sweet pea Tia, and Peppy full of personality Tia. A snooty Francine and a very melancholy one...My Sparrow acts like a smug. I think it was Bangle the duplicate, wish I had had two machines then and kept lively Tia as someone got a unique one there and snooty Bangle I believe it was her talking about how someone, really sweet I think Eunice as sweet as pie, must have got out of bed on the wrong side every day of her life, and so,e other really mean things to villagers, making them angry or that sad cloud. I don't know if they were glitchy, or even if people not liking one character over another is that time not spent in dialogue was spent making each towns villager types a little different than others, just like maps and grass...

Anyone seen this, any thoughts...

Yeah, I noticed it too somewhat, like Chrissy and Anabelle in my town are both peppies, though Chrissy acts really hyper and over-the top all the time, while Anabelle could pass for a peppier snooty. XD

I've also had 2 normals with Kitt and Skye. They're both super nice, but Kitt acts more motherly than Skye, possibly because of that baby joey in her pouch. XD

Skye seems to be a little more shy than Kitt.

Yeah, I agree on this. Lobo is my cranky, and he's not necessarily grumpy. More goofy. But I have had most of the cranky wolves and some of them are more rude than others.

I had this on Rudy.
He wasn't the normal over the top jock, like I've had before...
I didn't know there were sub versions, but that does explain a lot...

Scoot was my first jock in NL. He was, like, Super Jock: all sports and fitness talk all the time. He left and then Boone, another jock, moved in. You can tell he's a jock, be tones it way down. In fact, I like him so much more than Scoot.

Tabby is my only peppy and I love her, but she's another over-the-top kind. I hope the next peppy I get will be a bit more subdued.

I've had two Curly's since I started New Leaf.Curly 1.0 was a really dull villager that stayed in his house a lot and just spouted all the standard jock dialogue but my second Curly,Curly 2.0,is the exact opposite. He's almost always outside,he's said a lot of things none of my other jocks have said and he's not always talking about working out or sports. He also interacts with the other villagers quite a bit.I've had the same experience with Ozzie as well.My current Bubbles isn't nearly as peppy and outgoing as my original Bubbles but I kind of wish she was.
