Villagers wearing new things...?

Don't got an image (though, I could get one), but today I noticed that Freya was wearing a black bow on her ear today along with glasses. I've never noticed her wear this before, and I certainly never gave her one.

Did the update do something? Has anyone else noticed this happen to them?

I noticed Francine was wearing the same as well today! I'm in the same boat as you though as I'm not sure if they've always done it and I didn't notice or if it's a new update thing!

I'm leaning towards new, because Freya often wears glasses whenever she's wandering around the island. She's also bright pink, so the black bow stuck out like a sore thumb... in a good way, mind you, but still. I'd definitely have noticed it ages ago!

It's normal for villagers with the Fashion hobby to wear bows or glasses and carrying around a purse. Though I've never seen a villager wear both at the same time, so I wonder if that's new. I know for sure that my girl Felicity has only ever wore a yellow bow. If I see her starting to wear glasses along with it, for certain they must have changed something.

Just seems odd that I've had Freya for literal months now and she's only just decided to wear the bow. She'd only ever wear her glasses and occasionally a purse.

I saw Willow wear a black bow too! I didn't remember giving one to her and I knew it wasn't a delivered gift from another villager. I've only seen the glasses and the purse. Black isn't Willow's color too, so I noticed it right away lol.

Whitney started wearing a black bow too along with her usual sunglasses and purse. I thought I had accidentally given it to her but I guess it’s the new trendy thing for snooties.lol

I haven't seen Diana (snooty with education hobby) wear it. Perhaps it's only for islanders with the fashion hobby?

I have Bunnie (peppy w/ fashion hobby)--even before the update, she has had a green bow and purse, no glasses. It seems like the new update added a black bow to villagers who've already had the glasses and purse? Also I don't think they added glasses for villagers who already have the bow and purse, at least from what I've seen with Bunnie.

You’re right. I guess I just immediately associate the snooty personality with having the fashion hobby.lol

Peanut used to wear a red bow around all the time! And while I dont have her, Bluebear on a friend's island wears a bow a lot, too!
