Villagers visiting your home changed?

Well basically one of my villagers wanted to come visit my houe this evening at 6PM, so I set it to ^;10 as the arranged time for them to come round, obviously I completely forgot due to some family drama, but I have now come back on my town and realised my mistake and I have not seen the villager, so I save and quit and rewind the time to 6:05pm, to give me time to be ready, I waited until 6:10pm and the villager has not arrived at all

I know in ACWW if you missed a scheduled villager visit, you could just rewind the clock to a designated time and the meeting would still happen, did they change this for ACNL so if I miss the time there is no way of travelling a few hours backwards to try and not miss it?

You probably weren't able to let them come again because you saved and quit, then changed the time. But I don't TT anymore, so I'm not completely sure.

I would imagine thats what stopped the villager from visiting.

i think the villager completely forgets about it too. i happened to time travel after missing a get-together with gayle (not the same reason as you did though) and the next time i talk to gayle she acted like nothing happened. i guess time traveling erases it or something.

Sometimes my lazy villagers stand me up. I'll wait a full minute before I go find them. If they're supposed to come at 3:00 and they haven't come by 3:01, I go outside to find them and they always apologize for losing track of the time.

You don't miss it lol I forget about villager visits all the time. I just rewind time then wait in my house. Then they knock when they said they'd show up. If they don't I just try again, rewinding time does work.

Sometimes your villagers will stand you up. I can't remember the last one that did that but I've certainly had that happen a few times.
