Villagers selling paintings

So I thought only Uchi villagers could sell you paintings but Fang just sold me one while he was at Phoebes (an uchis) house ? Has this ever happened to you?

Smug's charge almost 8,000 bells. but might choose to give it to you for free if you agree to buy it.

Yeah I get paintings from all sorts of personalities.
Chief and Shep are my biggest suppliers.

Butch scammed me twice lmao but i don't hold it against him

Chow the Cranky sold me my first painting and it was a fake, but I don't hold it against him as he flat out told me he had no idea of it was genuine or forgery then gave me a chance to back out before handing over the bells. Deirdre the Uchi sold me my second and it was genuine. So far they are the only two, but I've only been paying a few months.

Knox operates a painting warehouse in my town. Almost all of his pings are "omg pls buy dis paining".
The funny thing about it is that they're almost always real.

Ken and Tom are the only others that have tried to sell me paintings. Ken only once, Tom a few times before Knox started his shifty business.
