Villagers ping about moving every day?

I hate "has this happened to anyone else" but I'm really kind of curious to know if it's happened to anyone else - isn't there normally a few days in between where villagers won't think about moving before another one asks you to move?

I've been getting them every single day for the past few days.

It's random so of course it can happen. Frita, Walt, and Elvis all pinged me to move all of last week. Frita was 3 pings out of all of that so I was pretty annoyed lol
Sometimes there are also dry periods so it's pretty common for either way. They don't have to wait a few days, as long as there is more than 8 villagers in your town, they would want to move.

I remember once I got someone to move out thinking I could time travel 2 days without worries. I then found out another villager was in boxes! I was like omg WHAT! Just a heads up! C: But usually I would check every 2-4 days. To be safe stick with 2-3 C:

This happens quite often for me, and even 4 days in a row, it?s somehow annoying. And then there are times when they don?t ask to move for 5 days and I?m afraid that a villager I like to keep could move out.

I recently experienced this too. For 3 days in a row I got the moving ping when I logged on my mayor. (3 different villagers tho). I asked in the post if this was normal, and someone else replied, yea, it can happen cuz normally the actual moving date will be 5 days from the date they decide to move out (or the date they ping?)..

That's not possible, I don't think. They don't ping twice in a row, do they?

As for OP, your probably just unlucky. A little out of the ordinary, but that's attributed to the randomizer in the game I guess.

They definitely can ping twice in a row. I had Benjamin ping me twice before, Bianca too. It's more likely to happen whenever they have the highest friendship with you.

Oh man this sucks I thought there was a little grace period but apparently not. :s
The declining moving requests then tt-ing however forward still works though? This wouldn't have any affect on it.
i just dont want to let them leave ;___;
