Villagers: Moving out, In, and Time Travelling!

I just told a villager to move into my town from a friend's town. If i tt a day, will they be in a my town?

I want to be able to plot reset today cause i have time.

Yeah, they should be in your town! Or if not then they should be the next day, but in my experience villagers usually come the day after I invite them.

Yeah I'm pretty sure I've heard that when you get the villager from someone else's town, they almost always show up the next day.

It may take a few tries to actually get the plot to show up though. Just keep at it and it should show up after a few goes.

If i TT before they have actually left the previous town, will they be there still? I'm scared of losing them!
