Villagers in other people's Campsites...

Can you get them to move into your own town? Or is it not possible?
I checked the forum to see if this has been asked before. I did find a topic, but the answers were rather mixed. One person said it is possible, others said no. Some said there has been no proof yet.

I ask this because I have a somewhat popular Villager at my Campsite at the moment, and would be happy to let someone else take her.

But if it's not possible, I won't bother. My town is full, so I can't even make her move into my own town.

No it is not possible, only the town the villager is camping in can take the person.

Some (normally honest) people swear it's happened to them. But I personally have never been able to do it or seen anyone do it.
