Villagers in Main Street

My brother had Molly in his game before and while she was moving I grabbed her from him and she moved into my town. There was about a month's time that I didnt get a chance to play animal crossing so Molly had moved away.

My question is though, is it possible for someone to go into my brother's Main Street and talk Molly into moving into their town? I tried to look this up but it became too confusing.

I'm not the one who wants Molly, it's for someone else. I'm not sure how the 'void' stuff works. It would be great for someone to clear this up for me.

If she's already gone there's not much anyone can do. He can do a 16 villager cycle (have 16 move outs) and then find her again (either in a tent or in someone else's town) and ask her to move into his town again.

There's a main street pool and the void pool. When villagers are on main street, they're no longer in the void. Main street is the point where villagers are almost cycled out.

You cannot adopt from main street, but if you have characters still in the void pool, and if they visit you, there's a chance that villager could steal one of the visitors empty slots.

So because I took Molly from his game then she's out of his void? (I'm assuming) but that could mean shes still in mine cause I've never seen her on my main street. Actually shes one of the few I haven't seen yet. I've gotten a lot of animals to move from my town, but I'm not too sure how many I'm at now. I guess I'll just keep checking tents and stuff.

I accidentally gave him Pietro for Molly he wasn't too happy because Pietro is still in his town and my brother has a fear of clowns lolz

If a villager moves out. They don't go to the void and it's impossible to get them from visiting. They sort of go in limbo until they hit the main street pool. If you didn't give Molly away and she voided instead of moving out, she's probably in your void.
