Omg I just died
But I don't really listen in on villager conversations for some reason. I think I need to start doing that more.
-Bows- I live to entertain
I actually try to listen in on their conversations, but it's always either
a) when I'm already in one and they friggen end it the legit second I end my own conversation
b) when I'm halfway through reeling in a freakin' fish
c) when I'm just far away enough that they complete their exchange before I can walk over
d) as I'm running away
I've caught very few of them. The best one I can remember was when Agent S was asking Lucha what she should change about herself to look like a super star, and I answered "but you already are one" and Lucha spilled all this heartfelt stuff about her being like his little sister and how he never wanted her to change, ever.
Sadly, I no longer have Agent S, but Rosie has filled the gap and I've seen a few interactions between the two. They have their fights, but my villagers always talk about how they're friends. I'd like to think Lucha's keeping an eye on her all the same~
I've also just caught a few weird convos about food and stuff. Funny stuff. It's sad that their timing seems to always be against you, because they really do add a little layer of depth that you can easily miss. I like seeing into my animals' spats and heartfelt moments. It just makes my town feel all the more special. I like feeling like my animals really have come together as a little family. It's just...idk it's super cute and immersive and one of my favorite parts of the game.
