Villagers can miss your appointments, that surprised me!

Erik made an appointment to visit my house today at 4pm. 4pm came and went so I went to hunt him down. When I found him, he told me he was too busy snacking and forgot about the appointment!

I didn't even know that was possible haha. Erik did only move in a couple weeks ago but I thought that we were friends because I've talked to him basically every day and done a lot of favours.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Even at best friends they have a shot at forgetting :3 it's a nice touch. We all forget things sometimes.

I read somewhere that the lazy villagers are more likely to forget? Since it's in their personality to do something like sleep in or get caught up in snacking or something like that. I think it's a nice touch and it's really good to know that they forgot to come over for a scheduled meet up after you forget to show up too

yeah lucky stood me up one time... i got kind of annoyed tbh since i waited for 5 minutes.
i've noticed that while other villagers usually come right at time, lucky (my only lazy atm) tends to be at least 2 minutes late

It's never happened in my town before, so I didn't know this could happen. That's kinda neat that it can though
