Everyone's already done a great job of answering your questions about villager interactions and behaviours. The villagers are adorable and each has a unique quirk that will appeal to different folks.
Out of my current villager line-up, my favourite would have to be Goldie. I absolutely adore dogs IRL, and she's just so sweet (overall, a lot of normal villagers appeal to me for this reason, haha). I love Rudy, Stitches, and many, many others as well though. If only we could have more than 10 villagers at a time. XD
