Villager won't follow me into other rooms..

So 2 times, this has happened today.. Right now I have Rosie over and she keeps asking to see the other rooms but she isn't following me for the tour.. It happened earlier today too, with another villager. Can anybody tell me why?

Did they just walk in without you inviting them? That seems to happen to me when someone pops in.

Nope, they asked to come over. So I know I'm supposed to show her around. She actually ended up following me into the upstairs room and the basement, but none of the side rooms or the back room

Wow, that's strange. I've never had something like that happen. Maybe something's buggy with the date?

That happens to me all the time. I just talk to them while they're in the doorway, and then walk to the farthest corner of the room. They follow me in after that.
(While they're in the doorway, they still tend to say, "Show me another room!")
